If you are a coach, consultant, leader, or other professional who wishes to influence  and inspire others, you are invited to join us to explore the gifts of your personal presence and your skills in using yourself as an instrument to open the doors of possibility for yourself and others. This highly experiential 3-day workshop is designed to address key aspects of your presence and your intentional use of self in the service of effectiveness, creativity, and satisfaction: your Awareness IQ.

A core belief of the Gestalt approach is that a self-aware and compelling presence is a critical practitioner success variable that goes beyond the scope of specific tools. A compelling presence is a competitive advantage for coaches, consultants, and leaders. We will be using  the essence of the Gestalt approach to support use of your Awareness IQ.

The workshop uses the power of groups as a vehicle for exploring presence and use of self across levels of system: individuals, dyads, the group itself, and the larger institutional context of the group. Group configurations provide the practice opportunities that are accompanied by varied and intense feedback regarding participants’ leadership styles and skills.

The workshop is limited to 20 people and will be conducted in English.

Introduction to Gestalt Practice: The Pragmatics of Magic

Presented by EGCP faculty

Dates to be announced…

This workshop experience is designed for professionals interested in Gestalt coaching, a holistic approach informed by the Gestalt theory, concept, and method that helped pioneer self- discovery and development movements, and that continues to evolve to meet 21st century challenges at all levels of system. In this hands-on workshop, participants are introduced to and experientially engage with key concepts and practices of Gestalt coaching such as: self-awareness, the core concept of the Gestalt approach which focuses on being simultaneously attuned to what is happening both within and outside the self; the “here-and-now” existential concept of how to work in and with the present moment as the most significant and relevant intervention point for taking action for change; and interpersonal practices for resilience. Participants will learn and practice these and other core foundations of Gestalt coaching.

Participants can expect to deepen their skills in:
– Self-awareness competencies
– A here-and-now focus that supports personal presence
– Recognizing the qualities of one’s presence and its impact on others

We invite leaders, coaches, consultants, and other professionals to learn and to experience the powerful, transformational qualities that a Gestalt approach offers for both personal and professional development.

We will be working in English but have access to needed translation in Turkish

This workshop will outline, experimentally explore and practice the skills that constitute effective intervention from a Gestalt perspective. Organizational consultants, coaches, business and human service professionals will find this workshop particularly useful in learning: Gestalt theory, concepts and methods; tools for facilitating individual and small group change and development; and data based-based observations about one’s use of self and the impact of one’s presence as an intervener and coach. Extensive skill building sessions, with faculty consultation and feedback are built into this workshop. This is an intensive introduction to the larger Eurasian Gestalt Coaching Program. We will be working in English. The workshop earns International Coach Federation Continuing Coaching Education credits.
